MONKEES THE: COMPLETE ALBUM COLLECTION LP

Americká rocková kapela Monkees vznikla v roce 1965 v Los Angeles. Byla sformována speciálně pro stejnojmen-nou televizní sérii zachycující příběh imaginární skupiny, která chce být jako Beatles. Podle členů souboru nebyli Monkees nik-dy plnohodnoutnou kapelou: „Monkees byli skutečnou skupinou asi stejně, jako byl Leonard Nimoy vulkánec." Přesto se Monkees stali jedním z nejúspěšnějších souborů hudební historie. Celosvětově prodali 75 milionů desek a nahráli řadu hitů jako Last Train To Clarksville, Pleasant Valley Sunday nebo I'm Believer.
